An amazing essay that Martin Scorsese wrote in today's New York Times about the changing nature of film and storytelling. One of the things I love about Scorsese is that he is not only an extraordinary filmmaker but he is also an excellent writer, one who keeps it clear and simple, yet retains a sense of elegance of language.
